The Asus EeeBox PC EB1501 is an nVidia-ION powered nettop released in late 2009 as a step up from the original EeBox EB1012. It features an Intel Atom N330 dual core processor (1.6GHz), 2GB of DDR3 RAM (up to 4GB), and a 250GB SATA-II hard-disc drive. The most notable improvements from its predecessor include the addition of a slot-loading DVD drive, the brand-new Windows 7 operating system, and a more sophisticated design suitable for display alongside an HDTV or PC monitor. Included also is an nVidia ION chipset with a GeForce 9400 graphics card — making this nettop especially friendly to gamers and/or users seeking to use their computer for watching 1080p high-definition content.
