Asus K42F
$850.00
Released December, 2009
The Pros:Good performance for the price. Capable cooling system, handles the powerful components with no hiccup. Excellent international and accidental warranty included as standard.
The Cons:Heavy (5lbs) compared to similar notebooks. Plastic materials used feels cheap. Annoyign to use glossy touchpad.
The Asus K42F is an Asus K laptop released as a bit of an affordable downgrade from the K42JC. It maintains all of its peer’s features except for a graphics module, which it trades in for a more conventional integrated Intel module.
