The Asus MW221U is a mid-range LCD monitor shipped with a low end price in order to remain consumer friendly. It is Windows Vista certified and supports a native resolution of 1680 x 1050. The MW221 has a 2ms response time and a 700:1 contrast ratio. In addition to the standard VGA input the MW221U also includes a DVI-D, D-sub, 3.5mm earphone and audio jacks and both digital and analog RGB connections. The MW221U also includes intelligent image enhancement firmware and provides five preset videos modes (Scenery, Theater, Games, Night View and Standard) which can be selected via hotkey as well as 3 different skin tone options (Reddish, Yellowish and Natural). For a sleek look the MW221U also includes a stylish aluminum base and unique front-panel buttons; the back also includes a cable manager to keep wires from tangling and hanging out everywhere.
