The Asus P5Q Deluxe motherboard comes packed with computing and power saving features. The motherboard support Intel Core2 processors in the LGA775 package, as well as the Intel 45nm Multi-Core CPU. The Asus EPU-6 Engine provides intelligent power saving functionality that automatically calculates and provides power for the current CPU loadings in real time. The aesthetic heat pipe design moves the heat from the chipsets to the heatsink where it is dispersed by existing airflow. This feature lowers the functional temperature by up to 10 degrees Celsius. The DieHard Bios has two chips, the main BIOS and a backup. This feature remove the need to purchase a replacement BIOS chip to recover data in case of corruption. The Asus O.C. Profile conveniently stores the CMOS in a separate file. This feature allows users to share their overclocking setting with other users easily.
