Various overclocking features come standard in addition to multi-GPU support.
This board is exactly the same as the Asus P6X58D Premium, but with built-in RAID support. Both 4 and 6 core Intel Core i7 processors can be installed into the P6X58D’s LGA1366 socket. As a gamer motherboard, overclocking is well supported with its 16+2 phase power design. This technology promotes power stability and lowers temperatures in the process. Up to 3 video cards can be used in NVIDIA SLI mode, while a quad card setup can be utilized in ATi’s CrossFireX configuration. Next generation SATA 6 Gb/s is also supported, giving the 2 connections about twice the data transfer performance of the previous generation.
