The Striker II uses the 790i Ultra SLI chipset combined with 3 PCI-e x16 slots for 3-way SLI support. For memory it provides 2 240 pin DIMM slots with Dual Channel DDR3 2000, 1800, 1600, 1333, and 800 MHz Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory support. One of the added benefits of the 790i Ultra SLI chipset is that it fully utilizes the 1600MHz max FSB (Front Side Bus) of Intel 45nm processors. The Striker II includes socket LGA 775 support for compatibility with all Intel Socket 775 Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Extreme, Pentium D, Pentium 4, and Celeron Processors. The Striker II board also features a dual gigabit LAN, UltraDMA 133/100/66/33 support, 6 SATA connectors, 2 eSATA ports, ADI 1988B 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC, 2 1394a ports, up to 10 USB 2.0 ports, 8 Fan connectors for added cooling, 2 PCI x1 slots and 2 PCI.
