The Asus VH226H is a 21.5" widescreen LCD monitor from Asus' VH Series for 2008 and is an upgrade to the VH222H. The monitor features a native resolution of 1080p and a contrast ratio of 12,000:1. It offers a 16:9 aspect ratio for undistorted widescreen graphics and has Trace Free technology with a 2ms response time for blur-free motion graphics. The VH226H utilizes ASCR and Splended Video Intelligence technologies for automatic color and contrast adjustment to provide optimal image quality. The monitor is designed with a tilting screen, built-in 2-Watt stereo speakers, and includes VGA, D-Sub and DVI connectors. It also has an HDMI input allowing connection to game consoles and blu-ray players for high definition graphics.
