Asus VW198T

The Asus VW198T is a 19" widescreen LCD monitor from Asus' entry level VW Series and is a step up from the VW195N.  The monitor features a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels with an image aspect ratio of 16:10 to provide a large viewing area.  It offers a higher contrast ratio than the VW195N of 3000:1 and has a 5ms response time making it suitable for applications such as gaming.  The VW198T utilizes ASCR and Splended Video Intelligence technologies for automatic color and contrast adjustment to provide optimal image quality.  The monitor is designed with a tilting screen and includes VGA, D-Sub and DVI-D connectors.  It also has built-in stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack which the VW195N lacks.  The VW198T is environmentally friendly since it is manufactured according to GreenASUS standards and is also Energy Star qualified for low power consumption.  The monitor is wall-mountable and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
