Averatec Voya 6400 Series

The Averatec Voya 6400 Series is a semi-rugged notebook that was built to be durable. It is wrapped in a magnesium alloy for its outer case and includes a spill resistant keyboard and touch pad. The notebook is extremely heavy for a notebook, weighing 6.8 pounds, more than any other in the Voya line. Part of the weight is because of the fact that its internal components have been designed to be drop and vibration resistant. The extra weight and different internals make the Voya 6400 several hundred dollars more expensive than the Voya 4400. Though it isn't as durable as some of the other laptops on the market, the Averatec Voya 6400 Series has the advantage of being ultraportable as well as damage resistant. It runs off of Windows Vista Home Premium, has a large for a notebook 15.1" display and comes with a Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor.
