Axe is a deodorant body spray from Unilever that is famous for its attention grabbing advertisements that have introduced the two phrases "The Axe Effect" and "Bam Chica Wah Wah". The body spray released in North America in 2002, but has been available around the world since 1974 when it was introduced in South Africa under the Ego brand. With its aggressive advertising campaign Unilever has made Axe the best selling body spray in the world.

In the United States there are 14 fragrances available with Unilever stating they have a goal of introducing one new fragrance a year. Limited Edition scents are also periodically released that are only in restricted quantities. Around the world there are dozens of different scents though it's unknown how many are common with one another and are simply named differently.

I love the marketing for this product, especially this ad. Plus I think it smells good, worn in the appropriate amount.

News Flash: I am a forma Axe user, and it's true the scent do not last. If you need a spray that lasts, try Malizia. I was recently turned on to the Malizia body spray (Made In Italy) by a friend, which I purchased off e-Bay. MAN! This body spray is very, very nice, much nicer than AXE. I think Malizia is an import and only avaliable on e-bay. I think every AXE user look for something better the AXE should try the Malizia spray. (I LOVE IT... AWESOME SPRAY) AAAAAAAAAAA+

Hey!!! There was this guy at the gym I ran into that was wearing something I didn't recognize and he said Malizia Sport. Wanting to purchase it for my man, I looked it up, found it on ebay and saw a gang of scents. There are two different sports and others. Which scents do you suggest? Thanks...
