The B&W 805S is a 2-way bookshelf or stand-mounted loudspeaker from B&W's high end 800 Series that handles up to 120 watts of power. The speaker is quite compact and is designed with a curved cabinet that includes Matrix interlocking bracing for rigidness. It has a 1" aluminum dome tweeter that is positioned on top of the unit and a 6.5" woven Kevlar cone bass/midrange driver. The 805S also includes B&W's Balanced Drive technology to reduce sound distortion. The speaker is available in real wood veneer finishes of Rosenut, Black Ash, or Cherrywood and comes with a black cloth grille. It retails for approximately $1400 each.
