Battlefield 2142

This game is one out of the Battlefield series and was produced by the Swedish gaming company DICE, the game differs from the others in the series because of it's way to not belong to our time.

The year is 2142, several nations are at war with each other, an age of the highest possible technology. You have a vast number of weapons and vehicles, uniquely designed to fit the nation of your choice, and big maps to conquer your enemies on.

  • Space Battles are fun and adds something the original never had.
  • wepons can be powered up
Cons
  • Jedi are way overpowered.
  • Flying vehicles such as starfighters for ground levels are taken out.
  • enemy is not hard enough

All I've ever known this game to do is lag the moment you try to make it challenging by adding more enemies, have lame online multiplayer, and no real campaign. I'd put my money into something else. But maybe I'm wrong.

just one example: the smarter player will beat the player with better aim or lower ping.

Great multiplayer FPS of all time? I'm going to have to disagree with that. A game that shares much in common with BF2142 but was 10 years ahead of its time takes the cake. Starsiege: Tribes. But Battlefield games are still great, just not the greatest :)
