New Years Resolution # 5: Take Better Care of Your Skin

You might want to add this to your 2007 New Years Resolution: Take Better Care of Your Body. Cleanse your face and start the year off fresh with this Be Fine Food Skin Care Cooling Peel-Off Mask.  I love these Be products and my wallet is not left feeling empty because when I compare these with other brands, these are not expensive.  I used to be a customer who believed that high prices equals superiority above the rest.  I shouldn’t have to spend a lot of money to take care of my body.  After being rather satisfied with the other Be Products, I thought I would give this a try.

Having used the warming clay mask first to moving on to the peel-off mask is like going from a desert to Arctic tundra.  The images that came to my mind as I tried it were running ice cold water over my face, drinking ice water after a long, hard run, it felt like taking a shower under a waterfall.  Okay, enough poetic fluff-my face felt clean. The initial adjective was brrrrrisk!  What I like from this product is that it, “replicates the sensation of a luxurious spa visit where an aesthetician would assist you.”  For a person like me who has oily skin, this product is helpful in eliminating a lot of excess oil.  It left my face with a matte finish, rosy and refreshed.  To look like I just spent 50 bucks at a spa really just cost me $22.00 at a drug store. Why is this wonderful product being sold at a drug store beats me. Maybe it’s to cater to people just like me who is tired and broke spending tons of money on expensive, and I mean really expensive beauty products.  When it comes down to it, I am not going to look like a supermodel if I continue to use Chanel products; I just want to find a product that works for me.  So far, this product line does it for me. That’s my soap box; please don’t kick it from under me.

The peeling mask also comes with a rose that is a sponge and a gentle cleanser.

“Feel our cooling mask working as it peels off dead dull skin and sends hyper doses of antioxidants from GREEN TEA into your skin.  Antioxidants hunt down harmful free radicals that age your skin.  Get rid of them! Apple and Lemon remove impurities and support pure new skin growth.”

“Our gentle face sponge softens when rinsed and squeezed with warm water.  The shape of the rose washes with a light scrubbing touch.  After use, rinse and it will dry as a rose again.”

“Our Gentle Cleanser conditions using Sugar to remove impurities of daily stress revealing radiant skin.  Invigorating natural Mint stimulates circulation, reviving both your senses and skin tone.  Oats and Rice work together feeding vitamins F, E and A for vital replenishment-clean, condition and moisturize all at once.”

Draw back: I hope they make it in a bigger bottle.  Currently, they sell this pack for $22.00 and the cooling mask is 1.5 fl. Oz/ 44 mL and the Gentle Cleanser is .5 fl oz/15 mL.  Overall, this is a pretty sweet deal.

Hey KD1964, you've definitely piqued my interest with this thing. Do they sell them in Canada?

Just an FYI: A couple of my friends have told me that their face gets really red after using this, so I did a couple tests over the last couple of weeks. I left it on for 7 minutes and it was dry and kind of peeled off. Then i left it on for 10 minutes and peeled most of it off and it left my face more red. Then I left it on for 15 minutes and it felt like taking a Biore strip off my entire face and left it sunburnt red. I got nervous because I had to go out that night and thought I had to put a ton of make up on to cover it up. However, it went away after 45 minutes and left my face a nice rosy complexion on my cheeks. Phew!

Wow, just wow. That was very brave of you. I can't believe you actually did it multiple times, leaving it on for longer each time. That's called dedication, people!
