Originally announced at CES 2008, Beats by Dr. Dre are high-quality over-the-ear, noise-canceling, DJ style headphones produced by the rapper Dr. Dre in conjunction with Monster Cable and Robert Brunner. The headphones are designed to output very deep bass, and are supposed to be used to listen to rock, rap, hip-hop, and R&B music. They also have a built in answer button and microphone for use with the iPhone. Beats by Dr. Dre are only available for purchase from Apple and Best Buy.
