The Belkin Home Base is a wireless USB hub built for connecting and accessing up to 4 portable hard drives, printers, or cameras over a preexisting local area network. It includes 4 USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet (100BaseTx) port, and integrated 802.11b/g/n wireless with push-button WPS security. Signature to the Home Base is its myriad of convenience-related features, including automatic backups to relieve the worry of sudden data loss; automatic picture uploading to Flickr or Picasa; and the ability to setup an external hard drive to act as a DLNA server for media content. After an HD has been established as a DLNA server, users can access their media files directly from a Playstation 3, Xbox 360, or any other DLNA-compatible client device.
