The BenQ nScreen i221 is an all-in-one desktop designed for novice users, such as seniors and children. This desktop features an AMD Sempron processor at 1.5GHz, an ATI Radeon X1200 graphics card and Windows XP. A 1.3MP webcam, wireless networking and a 4-in-1 card reader is also included. Various memory and hard drive configurations are available. BenQ has included a customized user interface to appeal to the youngest and oldest of users, offering large font sizes and a basic and a non-tiered folder system. Other changes include large icons for straightforward access to installed applications. For those who are hard of hearing, the computer system automatically optimizes frequencies known to be difficult to hear. On the left side of the display, users can add an optional telephone handset, compatible with Skype. On the right hand side of the display is a large volume knob and brightness up/down controls.
