BlackBerry Curve 8900 is the newest edition to the Blackberry smartphone Curve series. Released on Feb 11th, 2009, this device is sleeker, more solidly constructed and offers a much better resolution than its predecessor (480x360 pixels, supporting over 65,000 colors). The phone has wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, wireless mail, a full HTML browser and a 3.2 MP camera. However it lacks the 3G support and can occasionally be sluggish. It has a 5.5 hours talk time and a 15 day standby time. Screen size is 2.44 inches and has a 109x60x13.5mm dimension, with a 109.9g net weight. The media player supports a wide array of video formats including DivX, XviD (MPEG4 Advance Simple Profile), H.263, and WMV3. Audio Formats includes: .3gp, WAV, MIDI, AMR-NB, G711u/A, GSM610, PCM, MP3, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, and WMA9/10 Standard/Pro. It allows for microSD external memory.
