The first BlackBerry flip phone, the KickStart 8220 is similar to any other BlackBerry design despite a few differences such as the use of a microSD rather than a miniSD card slot, a flash for the 2MP camera, dual screens, and an in-set pearl trackball. Currently unannounced, there is no suggested price or release date, however it is clear that the the KickStart 8220 will be a mainstream option. It is currently rumored to be as cheap as 49.95 with a two-year T-mobile contract. The keypad retains the full QWERTY keys Blackberries are known for, with this one featuring a curved design first introduced with the Blackberry Curve.
