Eastern Growler (2011)

The Eastern Growler (2011) is a BMX bike built for expert riders. This is similar to the Eastern Shovelhead (2011), but has a shorter frame, Eastern Fuquay Flyer grips, and Eastern Fuquay Flyer tires to match. The tires and the Semi U-shaped double wall alloy rim optimize this bike for speed a bit more than the Shovelhead. Updates to the 2011 model include a hydro formed down tube with an integrated gusset in the frame. Eastern crown pedals are now used, and the seat is a one-piece padded kevlar alloy that has the seatpost attached. An Eastern Low Boy seat clamp is now used, and the sprocket has been switched to an Eastern Phorcys 25T 6061 alloy. The last update is the brake lever, which has been switched to an Eastern 6061 forged lever with a hinged clamp.

Eastern Traildigger (2010)

The Eastern Traildigger is a mid-grade 20" intermediate BMX bike. The Trailedigger is equipped with a 4130 Chromoly frame and downtube which provides a lightweight bicycle that has an enhanced durability. The unique frame material is also complimented by Eastern logo dropouts, and an integrated "Grim Reaper" style seat post clamp. The Traildigger also features 36 hole (spokes) front and rear alloy rims complimented by 14G spokes equipped with brass nipples.

The Eastern Traildigger BMX bicycle also includes additional features such as a fully supported lifetime warranty and lifetime upgrade option, an original 25T Medusa steel sprocket, an Eastern 8 inch by 27 inch handle bar with a 10 degree sweep, an Eastern Coral grip, a KMC Z-410A metal gear chain, and unique Eastern plastic pedals. The Traildigger also comes with extra components that consist of Curb Monkey and Burnout OEM tires, a unique 9'er wheel, Nitrous Shifter Cranks, and fully Translucent plastic pedals.

Haro F1c

The Haro F1c is a low-cost model in the Haro F series of BMXs. Like all the bikes in this line of bikes, the Haro F1c is built for tricking, which means it is made to handle easily and withstand impact. The Weinmann 48H alloy rims that come stock on the Haro F1c will help to serve the purpose of withstanding impact on harsh landing. The Haro MS4 20x2.1 front and rear tires will also help to absorb the impact of landings. As far as control goes, the Haro F1c comes with 990-style U-brakes, which will make quick stops possible. The Haro Stripe grips that come stock on this bike will help the rider feel they have a good grasp. Overall, there are many premium features here for a low price. The reviews of the Haro F1c have been fairly positive, but there is a concensus that the bike is a little heavier than is comfortable.

Eastern Dragon (2010)

The Eastern Dragon is a low-cost model in the Eastern series of Pro BMXs. This is a high-level bike made to respond to the needs of the advanced rider. The Eastern Dragon has handlebars that are 4130 chromoly, which means they can stand up to punishment. The 8.25" x 28" size of the handlebars helps to ensure controlled steering. The rugged Eastern Fuquay 20" x 2.3" tires that come stock on the Eastern Dragon are made to perform well in many different kinds of terrain. They too are durable. The Eastern Dragon is also equipped with Eastern Plastics pedals. These pedals are designed to keep the rider's feet in a secure position while they ride. While there are many decent features here for a fairly low price, there have not yet been many reviews of the Eastern Dragon.

GT Speed Series Pro (2010)

The GT Speed Series Pro (2010) is a racing BMX designed for speed. The construction of the bike is entirely focused on racing, starting with a frame built with 6061 aluminum hydroformed tubing using newly designed BMX race geometry. Control over hard terrain is gained with a GT BMX race fork with aluminum blades and crown. A number of other components were selected specifically for their proven success on racing bikes, including Truvativ Racing cranks and Alienation rims laced to GT Mohawk hubs. This is similar to the GT Speed Series XL (2010), but uses a Tektro 930AL on the rear brake, Tektro 319 brake levers, and a GT BMX "Pro Lite" saddle.

Eastern Reaper (2011)

The Eastern Reaper (2011) is a professional-grade BMX bike designed to be ridden hard by bigger or more experienced riders. It hosts a plethora of professional-grade components such as helix tubing for greater resistance to denting, and a low-boy seatpost clam that allows for a shorter seatpost. As a direct upgrade from the 2010 version, the Reaper (2011) trades in a KMC chain for a half-link chain, Eastern Curb Monkey tires for Eastern Fuquay (improved traction, enhanced resistance to street damage), and of course a standard 4130 chromoly frame with lightning rod tubing for one with the aforementioned helix down tube.

Eastern Shovelhead (2010)

The Eastern Shovelhead is a premium bike in the Eastern series of BMXs. This is a bike made for the advanced tricker. The Eastern handlebars that come stock on the Shovelhead have a measurement of 8.25" x 25". This helps to ensure that the rider will be able to pull off more advanced tricks with confidence and precision of steering. The Eastern Shovelhead also comes equipped with a sealed mid-bottom bracket. This feature helps the bike stand up to punishment, which is key for any trick bike. The Eastern Shovelhead is also equipped with Eastern CFRP pedals. These pedals are designed for an even weight distribution, which is of great importance when performing advanced tricks. Overall, the Eastern Shovelhead has received mixed reviews as a high-performance BMX.

The GT Speed Series XL (2010) is a BMX bike built for racing. This is similar to the GT Speed Series Pro (2010), but uses Tektro BX2 levers and Tektro BX25 rear brakes, has an SDG I-Fly saddle, and uses alloy nipples. Otherwise they are the same, with an aluminum hydroformed frame designed with BMX race geometry. Control over rough terrain is handled by GT BMX aluminum forks, and the seat clamps are integrated for durability. Other parts selected for racing compatibility include Truvativ Racing cranks and Alienation rims.

Eastern Shovelhead (2011)

The Eastern Shovelhead (2011) is an expert level BMX. This is similar to the Eastern Growler (2011), but has a different frame design and tires built to support tricks and street riding. The tires have been switched to Eastern Curb Monkey 20 inch tires that have a deep tread built for grip, and the rims have been switched to straight double wall alloys to avoid curb scraping. Eastern Wiz grips are now used as well. Updates to the Eastern Shovelhead from last year's model include the use of a hydro formed downtube with an integrated gusset, and a one-piece padded kevlar alloy seatpost combo. The seat clamp has also been changed to an Eastern Low Boy. New Eastern Crown pedals are now being used along with an Eastern Phorcys 25T sprocket built with 6061 steel alloy. The brake lever has also been updated to an Eastern 6061 forged lever with a hinged clamp.

The 2010 Logo is a performance BMX bike from Mongoose's 2010 BMX lineup. The bike is designed with a Full Hi-Ten frame and fork, Cromo crankset, and steel hubs. It features Innova tires to provide traction and grip and has a rear Rush alloy U-brake. The 2010 Logo includes Mongoose Hi-Ten handlebars, Mongoose's Kraton grips, and Mongoose's Shorty saddle. Hoffman Scarab EL

The Hoffman Scarab EL is a mid-range BMX bike meant to balance higher-end parts with a lower price point. Its frame features an integrated head tube and mid bottom bracket for professional performance while its 8” rise HB handlebars provide additional performance and comfort. Meanwhile, the Scarab EL's lightweight alloy platform pedals are durable enough for even the most extreme BMX use.

The Scarab EL's frame is strong and durable due to its integrated head tube, mid bottom bracket while its geometry (20.25" tube top length, 13.66" rear end length, 11.4" bottom bracket height, 74.5° head tube angle and a 71° seat tube angle) allows for optimal, pro-level BMX use. Haro F3

The Haro F3 is a mid-priced bike in the Haro F series of BMXs. Since these bikes are made for tricking, the emphasis here is on strength of build. This bike is made to withstand punishment. The Haro MS4 20 x 2.1 front and rear tires are made to absorb hard landings. The Weinmann 48H alloy rims that go with the tires help add to the bike's sturdiness, as do the set of steel pegs that reinforce each tire. The Haro Stripe Grips that come stock with the Haro F3 also increase the solid feel of this bike. These grips help the rider feel securely in position when performing stunts. The reviews of the Haro F3 have been generally positive. However, like other bikes in this product line, there is the common complaint that this bike is a little too bulky.

Kona Shred (2011)

Kona's Shred 2010 model is an entry-level dirt jump or trail bike with a front suspension and street-style frame, with decent sandover height and aluminum tubing to absorb impact. The front suspension is Marzocchi's Dirt Jumper 3 with 100mm of travel. It has mostly entry-level components, and is quite similar to the 2010 version. The only real upgrade is the inclusion of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes instead of Hayes mechanical ones. Like the 2010 this bike has Alex rims with 26-inch Maxxis tires. It has the lowest price point of the Dirt Jump/Trail bikes and is marketed as a good introduction to dirt trail riding.

Eastern Traildigger (2011)

The Eastern Traildigger (2011) is an intermediate level BMX bike built for street riding. This is similar to the Eastern Night Prowler (2011) but uses a frame design that has a 4130 chromoly downtube, internal headset and mid BB with holes for replacing the gyro tabs. The brake design uses a straight cable to the forged alloy U-Brake, and the grips are Eastern Coral. The other difference is in the tires, with a front Eastern Curb Monkey used to handle curb climbing and a Burnout 20 in the rear that uses a smooth tread. Updates from the 2010 Eastern Traildigger include the new Eastern Crown pedals, an Eastern Phorcys 25T steel sprocket, and a one-piece kevlar alloy seat and seatpost combo. The brake lever has also been updated to an Eastern 6061 forged lever with a hinged clamp.

DiamondBack's Joker 2011 model is similar to the previous model from 2009 and fits the same market niche. The Joker has been one of DiamondBack's standard entry-level street or skate park BMX bikes since 1998. This version has entry-level pricing and uses a lot of proprietary components, plus entry-level Tektro brakes and levers and an SST ORYG cable detangler. The frame is made of tig-welded steel, as is the fork, connected with an FSA threadless headset. The cranks are a three-piece setup. The single speed Kona Cowan (2011) is the middle offering of this line of BMX bikes. In promotion, Kona emphasizes the fact that this model has become stiffer for 2011. The stiff feel stems from a new dropout design, which use three bolts instead of two. To keep the cost of this bike down, the fork has gone from a Marzocchi DJ1 to a DJ2, which still provides lightweight strength. The brakes of this bike have been changed from the Shimano M575 hydraulic system to the similarly performing Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic system. This model is a step up from the base Shonky (2011) model in terms of its lightweight aluminum frame (the Shonky (2011) model's frame is chromoly), higher performing Marzocchi fork (the Shonky (2011) has a DJ3), and double walled Sun Estate rims (as opposed to cheaper Alex rims).

The Specialized P.20 Amateur is a BMX bike that has been built for durability with its strong Hi-Ten steel frame and fork and other high quality components.

The P.20 Amateur comes equipped with a Hi Ten frame with a 20.6" top tube and an integrated headset, MID BB with small dropouts, and is intended for riding in the dirt, park, or street. The TRL 1 is an entry-level BMX from Fit. The frame on the TRL 1 is 20" top tube, with integrated headtube and gyro tab holes. The CrMo steerer tube fork has 3/8" dropouts. The front tire here is a Fit F-Hucker 20" x 2.10", while the rear tire is an F-Hucker 20" x 1.95", both with Alienation PBR rims. The front hub is 3/8" AXLE, while the rear hub is 14mm sealed cassette. The drivetrain of the TRL 1 consists of a 175mm tubular CrMo crankset and sealed mid bottom bracket. The pedals are 9/16" alloy platform (on the maroon model) or Wellgo plastic composite (on the blue model). The embossed seat has integrated clamp and 25.4mm seatpost. Like all the entry-level Fit BMXs, the TRL 1 has a Tektro U-brake for a rear brake, with Tektro brake lever and Standard cable. The handlebars are 27" wide, with a 7.75" rise to them. The stem is front load alloy. Besides the pedals and sprocket style, the two color options have the exact same specs.

The Haro 000 Brakeless is a BMX bike built for advanced riders. This is a stripped down bike without brakes or brake mounts, with the construction focusing on being light weight and maneuverable. The Bass (2011) is Kona's flagship dirt jump/slopestyle BMX bike. The Shonky (2011) is the base offering in Kona's line of dirt jump/slopestyle BMX bikes. Features new for the 2011 model include a new head tube design, smoother lines with curves (instead of tack welded hard lines), Tektro hydraulic brakes (instead of Avid brakes), and a press fit Spanish bottom bracket with a bigger bearing that is more suited to BMX cranks. Features that have not changed include a durable chromoly butted frame. Another feature that remains the same is the Marzocchi DJ3 fork, which offers a rigid feel. The Specialized Fuse 4 is the tough and light, X-Games proven BMX bike intended for the serious BMX rider. The GT Air is a low-cost bike in the GT Freestyle series of BMXs. This is an entry level bike, made for riders who are just starting to get a feel for freestyle tricking. The GT dirt/street handlebars have a dual radius bend which ensure that the GT Air will perform in a variety of environments. The C-Star aluminum front and rear brakes give the rider control of quick stops when needed, a feature that is useful to the beginning trick rider. To the same end, the GT Air Bar front and rear tires have a design that emphasizes safety, so that the rider will have less of a chance of getting hurt if they attempt tricks above their level. Kona Five-O (2011)

Kona's Five-O is a mid-range dirt jump/trail bike and comes at the top of the Dirt Jump/Trail lineup. It has an aluminum frame with unique standover design to absorb impact, and a 140mm travel front RockShox coil suspension, intended to absorb impact effectively from jumps. This fork is an upgrade from the 2010 model. This and the other bikes in this series have multiple speeds, and this model uses Alivio shifters and front derailleur with a Deore rear. It also has Avid hydraulic disc brakes, unlike last year's version. The rear stays have replaceable dropouts, and there is an internal headset to improve stiffness and wear. This is the only Dirt Jump/Trail model to use this particular geometry. The derailleurs and shifters have been downgraded one tier from the 2010 model (Deore to Alivio and SLX to Deore).

Eastern Axis (2010)

The Eastern Axis is a high-end bike in the Eastern series of Pro BMXs. Like all the bikes in this series, the Eastern Axis is made for advanced tricking. The handlebars that come stock on the Eastern Axis are 4130 chromoly, which means that they will stand up to punishment. The 8.25" x 28" size of the handlebars will also help the rider to steer where they need to go on the track. The Eastern Axis also comes equipped with Eastern Coral grips. These ensure that the rider keeps a good hold on their bars, a feature that is key to confident tricking. The Eastern Curb Monkey front tire and Eastern Burnout rear tire are made to stand their ground and support hard landing and quick stops. There have not been many reviews of the Eastern Axis, or of the entire Eastern Pro BMX line in general.

Specialized P.20 (2011)

The Specialized P.20 is a BMX bike that is super durable, coming with a Cr-Mo frame, fork, and components for the ultimate park or street ride.

The P.20 comes witha 3-piece tubular Cr-Mo crankset with a cartridge-bearing MID BB that lets you boost up as high as you want, with a 25t CNC-cut chainring to improve clearance and also resists bending. It has lightweight plastic platform pedals that are strong enough to handle the hardest landings, while also taking mercy on your shins. This BMX also comes equipped with big 8-1/4" x 29" Cr-Mo handlebars, giving you more leverage and control over your ride, while adding to the aesthetic appeal.
This BMX bike is related to the Specialized P.2, which is also intended for park or street, but is an upgrade coming with the Marzocchi DJ2 fork and other high performance parts.

Verde Spectrum (2011)

The Verde Spectrum (2011) is a mid-cost BMX offering. This model is a step up from the lower cost Theory (2011) model in that it has a CNC machined stem (which helps to keep the weight of the bike down, while not sacrificing stiffness), as well as tapered seat stays (which contribute to a durable bike design). However, this model lacks the higher cost Radia (2011) model's React 25T alloy sprocket, double walled front rim, heat-treated cranks, and Odyssey Par Ends. The full chromoly frame, fork and handlebars contribute lightweight strength to the design of the Spectrum (2011). This model's fully sealed hubs help to protect the bearings from water and dirt.

The GT Power Series Pro is a mid-priced bike in the GT Power Series line of BMXs for young riders. Like all the bikes in the GT Power Series, this is a bike geared toward racing. As such, the handlebars on the GT Power Series Pro are GT BMX Race bend handlebars with a 7" rise, which means they are made for the job. In the event of a turn gone wrong, the the Tektro aluminum front and rear brakes give the rider control of quick stops when needed. The DiamondBack Grind 18 (2011) is a low-cost BMX bike geared toward beginner park and street riders. This model is a step up from the slightly lower cost Grind 18 (2011) in that it has a Tektro brake system instead of a LeeChi braking system (this is also the main upgrade from the 2010 Grind 18 model). The Grind 18 (2011) also has eighteen inch Kenda Kontact tires as opposed to sixteen inch tires. Features shared between the two models include a Hi-ten steel fork, which offers a rigid feel to help riders just starting out. Verde Eon (2010)

The Verde Eon is an Entry Level BMX Bicycle. This BMX model bike is a cost effective choice for a first time trick rider, and also comes in 3 different decaled colours. The frame of the bike is 1020 High Tensile Steel and the fork is also 1020 High Tensile Steel. The front tire for the Eon is a Dirt/Park Design of 2.125 inches, the rear tire is the same of 1.95 inches, and the rims are made from Alloy 36 Hole Single Wall that are coloured to match. A Slim Style seat sits atop a Basic Steel seatpost, and a Chromoly handlebar with a 7.6 inch rise tops the structure. The brake system for the Eon is Alloyed U-Brakes with a Medium Length Alloy brake lever. The bike chain is a KMC Z410 with a 3-Piece Tubular Chromoly 170mm, Heat Treated crankarm.

Sunday Aaron Ross PRO

The Sunday Aaron Ross PRO is a mid-range to high-end BMX bike similar to the Sunday Aaron Ross EX. The main thing setting the PRO apart from the EX is its complete set of aftermarket Odyssey components (whereas the EX only sports a select few), featuring: Odyssey EVO II brakes, an Odyssey Aitken pivotal seat and Odyssey Quadrant rims. Otherwise, the PRO and the EX sport the same basic features, namely a full CRMO frame.

The Aaron Ross PRO's Odyssey Quadrant rims feature a redesigned pinned junction which features four pins, two in the beads and two at the outermost corners of the rim’s inner diameter, unlike traditional junctions that use 2 pins; this results in a much stronger junction but at a lower price point than welded rims. Meanwhile, the Aaron Ross PRO's full CRMO steel-alloy frame makes it both lightweight and durable but at a lower price point than carbon frames.

Kona Stuff (2011)

Kona's Stuff 2011 model is an entry-level mountain bike intended for technical trail riding and dirt jumping. It is the model just above the more basic Shred, and has very similar features. The only large upgrade is that the fork is Marzocchi's Dirt Jumper 2 instead of the Dirt Jumper 3. Also, the rear derailleur is Deore instead of Alivio. This is also very similar to the 2010 version of this bike, the main difference being that the 2011 has Shimano disc brakes instead of Tektro. It has an aluminum frame with jump geometry and a high standover height, Alex DM-24 rims, and Maxxis tires.

The Eastern Ramrodder (2011) is an intermediate BMX bike designed for users ready to go beyond the beginner-level. Geared for users trying to test out their skills at a local skate or dirt part, the Ramrodder (2011), as an upgrade from the 2010 version, hosts an improved KMC chain, an enhanced chromaly treated crank, and Eastern logo hubs with an LB-9 cassette. It however inherits the notorious hi-tensile strength 2010 steel frame and fork. Also included are thin Skull grips with thick flanges, Tektro U-brakes, and 4”-long steel Byrd pegs.

The DiamondBack Grind 16 (2011) is a low-cost BMX bike. Not much has been updated from the 2010 model, except that the seat has changed from a stock DiamondBack padded seat to a signature plastic seat made to professional BMXer Darin Read's specifications. The Hi-ten steel frame of this bike provides a stiff feel, which is ideal for beginning riders. The Hi-Ten steel fork provides additional rigidity. This model differs from the slightly higher cost Grind 18 (2011) model in that it lacks the higher quality Tektro brake system (having instead a LeeChi brake system), and in the fact that its Kenda Kontact tires are 16" x 1.75" as opposed to 18" x 1.75".

Eastern Night Prowler (2011)

The Eastern Night Prowler (2011) is a BMX bike built for intermediate riders ready to push the equipment. New in the 2011 model are Eastern Crown pedals, an Eastern Phorcys 25T steel sprocket, and a one-piece padded kevlar alloy seat and seatpost combo. The brake lever has been updated as well, and is now an Eastern 6061 forged lever with a hinged clamp. This bike is the same as the Eastern Traildigger (2011), but uses a redesigned 4130 Chromoly downtube with replaceable brake mounts, cable stop and gyro tabs. The tires are Eastern Fuquay Flyers to match the Eastern Fuquay Flyer grips, and the rear brake is a forged alloy U-brake using a 1 into 2 upper cable.

Eastern Cobra (2011)

The Eastern Cobra (2011) is a BMX bike released as an upgrade from the Cobra (2010). It maintains a bevy of the same components, including a hi-tensile strength 1020 steel frame and a hi-tensile strength 1020 steel fork. However, the crank has been upgraded from a nitrous shifter to an original Eastern chromoly heat-treated 3pc unit that performs better. Also the sprocket has been changed to 25T steel with a nitrous graphic, and the tires (all of which received complaints from users) were replaced with original Eastern Curb Monkey / Burnouts for improved traction and a longer lifespan.

The Specialized Fuse 3 is a tough and light X-Games proven BMX bike, ideal for the serious BMX rider or pro-level performance. It has a 100% Cr-Mo frame and a mid BB and integrated headset. It is equipped with a 10t hollow-axle hubset and doublewall eyeleted rims. It has a 28-tooth chainring for a strong drivetrain and sealed cartridge-bearing MID BB handles for serious durability.

The Specialized Fuse 3 incorporates a 100% Cr-Mo frame with a 20.75" top tube, making it both strong and light. It also has a Cr-Mo fork, making it light and durable. It has a wheelset with a 10t hollow-axle wheelset and doublewall eyeletted rims for added strength. It's chainring is 28-tooth and CNC cut, giving it a strong and lightweight drivetrain. The sealed cartridge-bearing MID BB is extremely durable and handles abuse better than any of the other Specialized models. The new Fuse two-piece handlebar has a 10 degree backsweep and a 3 degree upsweep, giving it a better feel and control.

The Helio is one of DK's low-cost Park/Trail BMX offerings. Like all their 2010 BMX offerings, DK emphasizes in promotion that the Helio is an improvement over previous models, and has been designed with the specs of professional BMXers. Many of the features of the Helio are shared throughout the DK Park/Trail line, such as the 4130 chromoly frame, fork and handlebars (which have a slight 8" rise). The tires of the Helio are Kenda Park/Trail tires, which DK has used on all of their lower-cost Park/Trail offerings (as opposed to the Kenda multi-surface tires that the higher-cost DKs tend to have). The pedals on the Helio are DK plastic, which are the standard pedals for DK's lower-cost models. DK Siklon

The Siklon is a low-cost BMX in DK's Park/Trail line, a line DK promotes as being an improvement over their previous BMXs. The Siklon has many of the features common throughout this line of BMXs, such as 4130 chromoly fork, Tektro alloy seatstay mounted U-brake and plastic platform pedals (which adorn the lower-cost DK BMXs, as opposed to the higher-end aluminum platforms). The machined headtube frame of the Siklon, which allows you to adjust the head tube to your own personal specs, is the main difference between this BMX and the rest of the BMXs in the DK Park/Trail line. The rise of the handlebars, only 7.3", is also a change from the rest of the line, which have an 8" rise (excepting the flagship Asterik 26, which has a minute 30mm rise). Another of the features that sets the Siklon apart from the rest of DK's Park/Trail BMXs is the amount of color options available.

The Luxe (2011) is Verde's flagship BMX bike. The GT Compe is an entry-level bike in the GT series of freestyle BMXs for young riders. The GT Compe is primarily made for use in street and skate park settings. Though this is a bike made for beginners, there are many features which would interest any trick rider. The GT jump design pedals that come stock on the GT Compe are designed to help the rider get air, which is crucial in the landing of nearly any trick. This bike also comes equipped with Tektro aluminum front and rear brake, which give the rider control of quick stops when needed. Haro 300 Series

The 300 Series are the mid level entry in Haro's 2011 line of BMX style bikes. These are the first after the 100 and 200 series to offer a chromoly down tube frame, which is lighter than a 100% high tensile steel frame. Like the 200 series they also have a three piece chromoly crankset, albeit with mid sealed ball bearings instead of loose. The 300's also include updated Alienation PBR 36H alloy rims, Haro plastic Pivotal seat and seatpost, Haro "Recycled" plastic pedals and a larger frame size with a choice of either 20.5" or 21" top tube length. You also have a choice of colors and riding features between the 300.1, 300.2 and 300.3 models, which is the same in all of Haro's BMX bikes. The .1 bikes have a straight cable break and no pegs, the .2 have a 360 degree rotating front break hub and pegs on the right side of the bike, and the .3's have the 360 hub and four pegs. Fit TRL Signature Chase Hawk

The TRL Signature Chase Hawk is an upper mid-level BMX from Fit. Like its cousin the TRL 3, the Chase Hawk has removable brake hardware. The brake hardware consists of a Tektro U-brake rear brake and a medium Odyssey Mono-lever brake lever. Like most of Fit's TRL BMXs, the Chase Hawk has a 20.75" top tube frame with integrated headtube. Unlike most of Fit's TRL BMXs, which have Standard brake cables, the Chase Hawk has a linear cable, with CNC hanger. The seat here is Fit's standard embossed, with standard integrated seat clamp and 25.4mm micro adjust seatpost. The drivetrain consists of a tubular CrMo 175mm crankset and a sealed mid bottom bracket. The tires are Fit FAFs, 20" x 2.25" in the front (w/ Alienation PBR rim) and 20" by 1.95" in the rear (w/ Alienation 440 rim). The rear hub is 14mm sealed cassette, and the front hub is 3/8" hubsealed axle. The Chase Hawk has Fit's new 3-piece crankset. The handlebars have a 29" width and 8.25" rise. The Fit TRL Signature Chase Hawk comes only in the black/purple color.

The Eastern Warhammer (2011) is a beginner BMX bike designed for lightweight users who are beginning their journey into BMX culture. Built for either casually riding through a neighborhood or trying out BMX, the Warhammer adds along a new technology known as crown pedals. These use a slimmer and lighter profile with an adjusted grip that’s easier to use. Also included is a hi-tensile strength 1020 steel frame and fork, Eastern Fuquay tires, and a third-party nitrous shifter designed for enhanced performance. Keep in mind that more experienced users should opt for more suitable models such as the Shock or Cobra.

The TRL 3 is an upper mid-level BMX from Fit. The rear brake is a Tektro U-brake, and the front brake is a bolt-on caliper. The removable brake hardware also includes Odyssey Monolever Medium brake levers. Depending on the color, the seat is either the standard embossed seat (red model), or the ECCD seat (black model). Either way, there is a micro adjust seatpost and integrated seat binder. The front tire is a Fit FAF 20" x 2.25" (w/ Alienation PBR rim), and the rear tire is 20" x 1.95" (w/ Black Sheep rim). The front hub is 10mm axle, while the rear hub is 14mm sealed cassette, with a 9t driver. The Campy Compat 45/45 integrated headset is standard on all the Fit TRL BMXs. The full 4130 CrMo handlebars have a rise of either 8.25" (red model) or 8" (black model). The chainset on both color models is 175mm tubular CrMo, and both models feature Fit's newly designed cranks.

Eastern Shock (2011)

The Eastern Shock (2011) is a BMX bike released as an upgrade from the Cobra Shock (2010). Though the frame remains the same, the chain has been slightly upgraded from a KMC A510 to a Z-410A, and the cranks have been entirely switched from a Nitrous Shifter to a proprietary Eastern chromaly haet-treated 3pc unit that performs better. The biggest changes occurred in the hubs. Both went from third-party components to original Eastern alloy cassette hubs, with the old one using a loose ball bearing, and the front relying on a low-profile shell designed to accommodate an Eastern pop-n-loc hub guard.

Kona's Steely 2011 model is the first of its kind and is a mid-range bike intended for trail riding, and its main differentiating feature is a steel frame, as opposed to the others' aluminum. Steel is more durable and rigid than aluminum, though heavier. This bike has an adjustable range RockShox Tora fork and frame geometry somewhere between a classic mountain bike and a dirt jumper. It has the second highest price point of the Dirt Jumper/Trail series, though it is not as well suited for dirt jumping. It features a Shimano Deore set of derailleurs and shifters, and Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc brakes.

The Haro X24 is a moderately priced member of the Haro line of BMX bikes. It is built with a 21.7" top tube X series 24" frame, 175mm crmo 3-piece cranks, 990-style U-brakes and 24" 36-spoke wheels with Alex 36H alloy rims. Unlike some of the other bikes in the Haro X line, the Haro X24 comes with the same front and back tires - Kenda K-Rad 24x1.95. The pedals are made out of Haro "Recycled" plastic, making the bike slightly more environmentally friendly. It comes with a cable detangler and one set of steel pegs specifically so that the consumer can learn and perform tricks in a variety of environments such as the street, dirt jumps and even parks. The Eastern Boss is a premium model in the Eastern Team line of BMXs. This is a top-of-the-line bike made for serious riding. The handlebars on the Eastern Boss are 4130 full chromoly Wonder Year bars. These are quality bars that will help the rider pull a variety of manoeuvres. The Eastern Boss also comes equipped with Fuquay Flyer grips. These grips ensure that the rider feels they have a good grip on their bike. The Eastern Curb Monkey tires that come stock on the Eastern Boss help the rider to feel confident in a variety of environments. Though there appear to be many quality features here, the Eastern Boss has not been reviewed much. This is true for most of the bikes in the Eastern line of BMXs.

The Verde Radia (2011) is a mid-cost BMX bike with a 100% chromoly frame and fork. The main improvement on this model over the 2010 Radia model is the inclusion of lightweight 25/9 gearing. This model is a step up from the lower cost Spectrum (2011) model in that it has a React 25T alloy sprocket, a double walled front rim (for added durability), heat-treated cranks, and composite Odyssey Par Ends (which add lightweight strength to your bar ends). This model is a step down from the flagship Luxe (2011) model in that it is lacking the flagship Luxe (2011) model's Odyssey Twombolt 2-piece cranks, alloy sleeved pegs, and Tektro FX-340R brake.

The Sunday Funday PRO is a BMX bike that has different features when compared to other Sunday Funday models. A 2010 product, the bike has a 20.75-inch fully chromoly frame that's sturdy enough for various terrain and has fully chromoly fork and handlebars. The Theory (2011) is a step down from the Spectrum (2011) model in that it does not have a CNC machined stem or tapered seat stays.

Haro 200 Series

The Haro 200 Series line of BMX style bikes is a step up from the entry level 100 Series, offering three sizes and three color choices for each of the three bikes in the series, providing the most options out of any of Haro's 2011 bikes. The 200.1 version is the most simple, with no pegs and a straight brake cable, while the 200.2 has one set of pegs on the right side of both axles for doing tricks and an ende rotor break cable which lets you do handlebar spins. The 200.3 is similar to the 200.2 but comes with 2 pairs of pegs for two on each axle. All three come with a Hi-tensile frame with wishbone chainstay and a choice of either 18.5", 20" or 20.5" top tube length, as well as Kendal Kontact tires. All of the 2011 Haro bikes have had the rear dropouts modified to accept both 3/8" rear axles as well as 14mm, should the owner decide to upgrade to a 25/9 drivetrain, although 14mm with 25/9 comes standard in this series. Fit TECH Signature Eddie Cleveland

The TECH Eddie Cleveland is an upper mid-level Signature BMX from Fit. The Tektro U-brake mounts and cable guides are removable on this BMX. The handlebars here are 2-piece 4130 CrMo with an 8.25" rise and DLR-style stem. The crankset of the Eddie Cleveland is 3-piece, with a sealed BB. The frame is a 4130 CrMo Eddie frame. The forks are also 4130 CrMo, with tapered legs. The tires on the Eddie Cleveland are FAF 20" x 2.3", with an Alienation PBR rim at the front and an Alienation 440 rim at the rear. Haro 500 Series

The 500 Series are the headliners of Haro's 2011 freestyle line of BMX styled bikes, offering 100% chromoly frames, forks, bars and crankset. This material is lighter and stronger than the Hi-tensile steel used in the 100, 200 and partially the 300 series. The 400 series has a 5 tube chromo frame, while the 300's have a chromo down tube frame, whereas the 500 has an entire chromoly made frame. Similar to the 400's, the tires included are Odyssey Aitkin's and the rims are Alienation Black Sheep. Also akin to the 400's are the upgraded WinZip rotor which allows you to do handlebar spins, as well as the Counterfeit grips and 25/9 sealed bearing gear set. All of the the 2011 Haro bike's have a modification to the rear axles which allow you to use either 14mm or 3/8" axles so you have a choice, as well there is a choice of top tube sizes depending on your preference. Also featured in the 500 series are tapered fork legs, Haro slim padded pivotal seat/post with clamp, CNC machined stems and removable brake and cable mounts. Within the series you have a choice of three models, each with a choice of colors and top tube length, and each defined by either a .1, .2 or .3 after the 500 designation. The only difference between them aside from the different color options are the choice of having no pegs and a straight brake cable in the .1, rotating brake cable and a pair of pegs in the .2, and a rotating brake cable and two pair of pegs in the .3. The Haro X3 is a sleek lightweight bike designed for consumers who want to learn new tricks, need the detangler and pegs to do it, but don't want to be weighted down by a heavy bike. It comes with two different tires, the Haro Joe Dirt for the front and the Haro MS4 for the rear. The rims are made out of Weinmann 36H alloy and the saddle is slim with a steel post. The pedals are Haro's "Recycled" plastic pedal, making the bike slightly more environmentally conscious, and the handlebar is a Hi-Ten 8" rise. It has a 25/9 micro-drive with a alloy cassette rear hub and a 1-1/8" fork. The Haro X3 comes in two different colors: Gloss White and Rough Black. Verde Cadet (2011)

A new model for 2011, the Verde Cadet (2011) is an entry-level BMX bike. One of the features emphasized by Verde in promotion is the new mid-sized seat design, which is geared toward keeping this bike's weight down. The integrated seatpost helps to make the Cadet (2011) lightweight. A third feature on this BMX that helps to make it light is its 25/9 gearing. This gearing also enhances the durability of this bike. The sealed mid bottom bracket, which contributes to a durable design, is a feature usually reserved for BMXs in a higher price bracket. This model is a step down from the slightly higher cost Eon model in that it lacks the Eon model's anodized rims and matte-painted graphics.

The Felt Vault is a dirt-street bmx bike that is intended for beginners and is priced that way, but still has a lot of high-quality features making it look pro-level.

The Vault has been redesigned from its previous model to include lighter tires, making the whole unit lighter and more maneuverable. It also has a cr-mo downtube and a 20.5" top tube length, making it a full sized bmx bike. This bike also features a hi-ten fork and 7.8" rise handlebars. It comes equipped with a pair of 36mm pegs and has a drivetrain that is made up of 25x9T gearing with 8 spline 3-pc cr-mo cranks. The Vault comes with Tektro brakes and levers, and Felt Park Avenue and Trailorpark tires.
This bmx bike is related to the Felt Chasm, which has a lot of the same features, but is intended for mid- to advanced-level riders, and has a slightly higher grade construction, intended for hard riding.

Haro 124

The Haro 124 is a beginner's BMX for adult sized riders. This pairs with the Haro 116 and Haro 118, but is designed for taller riders that need a more stable design for learning freestyle riding. The large 24 inch Kenda K-Rad tires tires are designed to provide a smooth and stable ride without having to work to keep the bike upright. The hi-tensile frame is designed to support the high tires but uses a 5.25 inch rise bar to keep everything in proportion. A 3-piece chromoly crank system is scaled to 175 mm, and uses Haro "Rycycled" plastic pedals. As with the Haro 116 and 118, the Haro Slim saddle with steel seat post is used and 2 pegs come pre-installed.

Eastern Thunderbird (2010)

The Eastern Thunderbird is a premium model in the Eastern series of MTB BMXs. This is a bike made for serious riding in a variety of environments. The Eastern Thunderbird comes equipped with RST Space 80mm front suspension. This feature helps ensure the rider will have control over their steering and how they absorb hard landings. The Eastern CFRP plastic pedals that come stock on this model also help give the rider the control needed to manoeuvre uncharted territory. The Eastern Thunderbird also has a Pinner seat, which makes it easier for the rider to change from sitting to standing positions. There are many quality features here, but the Eastern Thunderbird does not seem to offer what its price tag promises. There have not been many reviews of the Eastern Thunderbird, or of the Eastern BMXs in general.

Haro F2

The Haro F2 BMX bike is a relatively low-cost model in the Haro F series of BMXs. Like all the bikes in this series, the Haro F2 is made for tricking. This means it is built to withstand impact. To that end, this BMX comes equipped with Haro MS4 20x2.1 front and rear tires, which will help to absorb the impact of a landing. The Haro F2 is reinforced with two sets of pegs, one for each tire. This feature also helps to make landings less harsh. This line of BMXs is further geared toward giving the rider control. The 990-style U-brakes that come stock on this model are an indication of this. The brakes make quick stops possible. Though the Haro F2 BMX appears to be an alright value, the reviews of this bike have not been especially positive. It is purported by some to be a little heavier than is comfortable.

The Haro F1 BMX is a low-cost product in the Haro F series of BMXs. Since this is a BMX, it is built to stand up to the punishment of trick biking. To that end, the hubset has a 48h/14mm axle with an alloy shell loose ball rear cassette. This feature helps to ensure that the hub will be able to handle the stress of jumps and landings. This bike comes equipped with 990-style U-brakes, which allows the rider control of hard stops. The Hi-Ten handlebars have a 7.5" rise, which helps to ensure that the rider will remain in relative comfort, even when uncomfortable terrain is being riden. Overall, there are many features here that are unexpected in such a low-cost bike.

The Verde Vex is a Mid End BMX Bicycle. This model is a sleek and all around well performing bike. The frame and wheels are balanced without being too heavy and the price is affordable for an entry level bicycle. The frame of the Vex is a Chromoly Top Tube with an Integrated Seat Clamp and the fork is a Chromoly Steerer Tube of Verde Design. The tires for the bike are both Dirt/Park Design, the front being 2.125 inches and the rear being 1.95 inches, with Alloy 36 Hole, Single Walled rims. The Pivotal Plastic seat sits atop a Pivotal Alloy seatpost and a Chromoly handlebar with a 7.8 inch rise tops the structure. The brakes for the Vex are Alloyed U-Brakes with Medium Length Alloyed levers. Lastly, the chain for the Vex is a KMC Z410 with a 3-Piece Tubular Chromoly 175mm, Heat Treated crankarm.

This is a good all round BMX bike with no particular features aside from its light weight. All Verde models are built with high quality materials, and except for the chain, will stand up to large amounts of punishment and severe weather conditions. The Verde Theory comes in the colours Green, Blue, and Purple.

The Verde Luxe is a Mid End BMX Bicycle. This bike features an amount of durability not found in the other 2010 model Verde bikes, and as such can take a lot more punishment than the less expensive models. The frame of the bike is 100% Chromoly with an Integrated Seat Clamp and the fork is a Verde Designed, 100% Chromoly, Integrated Bearing Race with Tapered Legs. The front tire of the Luxe is a Duo Stunner with Natural Side Walls 2.20 inches, the rear tire is the same at 1.95 inches, and the rims are Cinema 777 Double Walled. A Verde Pivotal seat sits atop a Pivotal Steel Alloy seatpost, and the handlebar is Chromoly with an 8" rise. The Luxe's brakes are Tektro 907s with a Medium Length Alloy brake lever. Lastly, the bike chain is Taya Teflon with Odyssey Twombolts 175mm crankarms.

This bike is best suited to the active, but not professional, BMX rider. The durability of this bike means that it can be crashed repeatedly and still stant back up. All Verde models are built with high quality materials, and except for the chain, will stand up to large amounts of punishment and severe weather conditions.
