These gloves are very good. I would not recommend them if your going to be doing a lot of grappling. You can grapple with them, but it does limit you some. Overall very good. Featured is an open-palm design with a curved anatomical grip and fit, a solid curved foam padding for protection, and an anatomical thumb padding for mobility. There are also reinforced finger loops. Plus the gloves hosts a supportive 18” hook-and-loop wrist strap with tri-sect closure for extra support and protection. Testers report the Leather Striking Training Clothes are ‘excellent’ for sparring. However, they say the inner knuckle padding is very stiff, meaning the gloves aren’t necessarily the best for heavy bag work.

UFC's Vinyl MMA Training Gloves are intended for new or aspiring mixed martial artists, as they offer a low price point and all-around general training utility. They also have features, like cut-away palm and cut finger joints, that make it easier to get used to the feel of MMA gloves. They have extra knuckle and backhand padding and a large thumb hole for dexterity. There is also an adjustable velcro wrist strap for support. One of the main reasons for the low price point is that these gloves are made of vinyl, as opposed to the polyurethane or leather of which other competitive or training gloves are made. The palms are closed but have a mesh ventilation pad underneath, and all of the fingers are pre-curved to reduce cramping. These gloves also use UFC's "ClinchStrap" which uses two separate hook and loop closures to further secure the glove and reduce movement over long periods of striking. When undone, the ClinchStrap also allows for easier donning or removing of the gloves.

UFC's Stiker Glove is a training glove designed specifically for striking and punches, as it features a thick knuckle pad for repeated hits. The gloves are pre-curved to reduce fatigue and increase dexterity, and they also have an open-palm cutaway for the same purpose. There is a lower-thumb pad that absorbs impact and thus increases overall stamina, and the upper thumb is left open for flexibility.
