Breville Die Cast Programmable BES820XL

The BES820XL features a full 15 bars of pressure combined with a special patented Triple Prime pump that automatically shoots three quick bursts of steaming hot water into the filter head and creates a much higher pressure inside the device; this allows more crema to be ejected into the beverage leading to a more smooth and rich taste and also prevents burning. A unique dual action selector dial allows users to turn to the right for Espresso extraction and to the left to start the steam wand and activate the milk frothing function. The device also includes lights which illuminate to let users know the machine is turned on or heated. An included stainless steel cup warming tray can heat up to six Espresso cups simultaneously. The device also incorporates not one, but three stainless steel filters that each have separate uses (single shot, 7g; double shot, 14g; and pod) and utilize Breville's dual wall crema technology; they also utilize an easy eject feature making them simple to change and clean in-between use. A feature specific to the Die Cast BES820XL model includes a unique thermocoil heating element that heats the water temperature high enough to froth milk and then utilizes the built-in Auto-Purge function to lower the temperature quickly back down to the correct normal brewing temp.

The Die Cast BES820XL model includes additional features such as a 4.5 inch clearance from the drip tray to the filter which allows a direct injection of brewed beverage into any size espresso mug, a self retracting water tank tube, a front panel pressure gauge for monitoring, a large size 1 liter drip tray to ensure no overfilling during an accident, a 72 square inch solid stainless steel cup warming tray, a completely separate swivel steam wand equipped with froth enhancing technology that can also be used for tea, hot chocolate, or other warm beverages, and a front panel concealed storage compartment. The Breville Die Cast BES820XL also includes additional accessories such as a dual sided coffee tampering tool/measuring scoop,  a cleaning tool, and a stainless steel milk frothing jug.
