The D-Link DAP-1360 is a wireless N-Range extender engineered to either create a new wireless network or extend the coverage of an existing network. As an upgrade from the DAP-1360, the D-Link DAP-1360 provides high-speed wireless connectivity for streaming high-definition videos or playing multiplayer games. Like its predecessor, the unit can function as a router, an access point, or a conventional LAN device, as well as (in addition) a wireless repeator. The improved wireless performance does come with a few negatives, as the D-Link DAP-1360 lacks a USB port.
