The Britax Roundabout is a compact convertible car seat that supports a weight of 5 to 35 lbs (rear facing) and 20 to 40 lbs (forward facing). Designed for infants between 1 day to 2 years old, the Britax Roundabout is essentially a slightly downgraded peer to the Britax Diplomat in that it doesn’t feature an infant body pillow or True Side Impact Protection. Rather, the Roundabout utilizes a regular side impact protection that works to distribute crash forces, shield from vehicle intrusion, and properly contain both the head and body. In addition, the Roundabout boasts a tangle-free five-point harness with three adjustable heights, a patented Versa-Tether for energy management, front- and rear-facing recline, and a premium push-button LATCH systems that provides quick, simple, and tight installation.
