The Brother MFC-240C is an inkjet-based all-in-one machine with scan, copy, fax, and print capabilities. Print speeds are average, rated up to 25 pages per minute, with a print resolution of up to 6000x1200 dpi. Scanning, copying, and fax utilize the letter-sized flatbed, and a 10-page automatic document feeder is included for multiple-item scan, copy, or fax jobs. The fax feature includes a 200-page out-of-paper memory as well. PC-free photo printing is possible, using PictBridge-compatible USB devices and slots for all major flash-memory card types. The print system uses a four-cartridge setup, with one black cartridge and individual colour cartridges.
