This is unlike anything I have ever seen before.  This solar roll will charge iPods, digital cameras and more.  To top it off it is waterproof which is awesome.  Because we are becoming more and more energy conscious, this certainly fits the bill and is something that we need to more and more towards.

Time to get a little green and use this portable solar charger in the backcountry. I know that they are selling this over at Powderfin.com.

This is a pretty sweet little gadget. The amount of energy given to the earth by the sun is rediculous, and I find it even more rediculous how little humans use this abundant energy source. Solar-cell technology today is way less efficient than it should be (~12%), but with usefull products like this one, the demand for better solar technology is bound to take a higher priority, eventually making a better world for everyone and everything everywhere... (I can't think of another "every-" word). Now if there was only some way to use wind and wave and geothermal heat power for my Ipod...hmmm.
