Buffalo Technology TeraStation III
The Buffalo Technology TeraStation Duo is a portable Network-Storage Device engineered for small to medium sized businesses. It features four 2.5” HDDs and supports RAID 0 (Stripping w/o Redundancy), RAID 1 (Mirroring), RAID 5 (w/Redundancy), RAID 10 (Stripping/Mirroring), and JBOD (Full-Capacity Spanning). Especially notable is the unit’s numerous business-related features: Active Directory support, DFS support, disk-quota support, share-level replication, built-in FTP server, DLNA CERTIFIED streaming server, port trunking, etc. Note also that the unit hosts a snap-off front panel, behind which the hot-swap drives lie. And the user managing the TeraStation III need not be an expert, as the device allows for easy setup and administration via a simple web interface.
