BUGbase is the base module of BUG, a collection of programmable electronic modules which allow users to build their own devices. The BUGbase is a programmable computing device running Linux, and includes a CPU, 128 MB RAM, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, USB, Ethernet, MMC, serial interface, and a small LCD with button controls. You can connect up to four BUG modules to the BUGbase in any fashion and program the unit to do whatever you like. The BUGbase retails for $349 but is available now for an early adopter price of $299.
