July 7/09: Just started playing this game today, and it runs better than expected on my setup. Since I haven't played the first one I felt kind of lost at the beginning but I'm slowly piecing things together from the last game. Voice acting is average at best but the gameplay is quite fun.

July 12/09: I'm about midway through the game (as far as I can tell), and I'm still enjoying it immensely. The voice acting is not as bad as I first reported, in fact it fits the gameplay/style quite well. Graphically, I'm running on the highest settings possible at 1680 x 1050 lag-free on my overclocked 9600 GT. It looks stunning. The game uses some really interesting variations on the bullet time concept with mouse gestures (ie. single-action handgun reloading/firing, quick-draw sequences) that keeps the game interesting when the gameplay gets a little repetitive.

July 21/09: Finally finished the game. The ending is somewhat unbelievable but then again this game is all about being over the top (and melodramatic). Not that that's a bad thing. ;) One of my favorite straight-up action games.
