The Callaway FT i-bird irons are made using a multi-material construction which creates a lightweight titanium body and an oversized clubhead. Heavy Tunite weighting is put into the sole to create a stable center of gravity and a high moment of inertia. Like some of the other Callaway drivers, the FT i-birds use TPU SenSert to decrease vibration in the swing and impact. The main feature of the FT i-birds is the low center of gravity and the wider sole for interaction with the turf. The Callaway FT i-bird irons are designed to be forgiving, so they are good option for more inexperienced players.
