The Cambridge Model 88CD is a table top radio and CD player combined. For an older model, the system has a resonable price for the high quality sound it delivers. It comes with the basic features, a CD player, radio and clock/timer along with some additional nice features such as a record output that can double as a mixing input. The input can't be used for karaoke because of the lack of gain, but the front panel comes with a headphone minijack and the FM tuner is better than similiar models. The Cambridge Model 88CD takes up a good amount of space so it isn't a product for those looking for a space saving system, but the sound quality is great and the price is inexpensive, so on the whole it is a decent buy.
