Canon EOS-1D Mark IV

The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV is a professional 16.1 megapixel digital SLR camera that features a totally redesigned 45-point AF(autofocus) system including 39 cross-type points and a new AI Servo II AF focus tracking system. It is the successor to the EOS-1D Mark III and is set to be released in December 2009. This is one step down from the top of the line in Canon's EOS series. Dual DIGIC 4 image processors are included which is the latest version of the Canon made technology, and a broad ISO range of 100 - 12800 (expandable to 102400) makes shooting in either bright or low-light situations clear and sharp. 10 frames per second can be captured as well as 1080p HD movies, all of which can be stored on a removable flash card. Files can also be transfered to a computer using the USB 2.0 port, or through an optional WFT-E2 IIA wireless transmitter over 802.11a/b/g and ethernet. 3" ClearView II LCD monitor with 920,000 dot VGA display is also featured which has a viewing angle of 160 degrees and is scratch resistant, and the dust and weather resistant magnesium alloy body sports a shutter durability of up to 300,000 cycles. A handy new feature is a voice memo/sound clip recorder with a maximum of 30 seconds recording time. NTSC/PAL selectable video output also included.
