The Canon FS22 is a standard definition flash memory camcorder from Canon's 2009 lineup. The camcorder is a step up from Canon's FS21 since it features 32GB of built-in flash memory for storing video and still images which is double the internal memory of the FS21. Like the FS21, the FS22 features a 1.07 megapixel CMOS sensor and Canon's DIGIC DV II image processor for reduced pixel noise and improved image quality. It also includes an SDHC expansion slot and a USB output for uploading to PC. The camcorder is designed similar to the FS21 with a 2.7" LCD display and an ultra-compact size and weight. It includes Canon's 48x advanced zoom technology as well as image stabilization and a quick charge feature. The FS22 is available in a graphite finish and is expected to be released in Spring 2009.
