It utilizes 6144 nozzles (768 x 8 colors) to produce edge-to-edge true borderless prints at 4800x2400dpi resolution in 4x6” in 38 seconds, and 8x10” in approximately 50 seconds. The i9900’s MicroFine Droplet Technology uses superior ink-droplet techniques with accurate ink application & composition to deliver greatly enhanced-quality pictures in super-fast time. Most notable about the Canon i9900 is its connectivity, including USB 2.0, Firewire, and a Direct Print Port. The i9900’s Direct Print Port allows the device to be connected directly to PictBridge-compatible digital cameras or DV camcorders.
