The Pros:Fairly compact for a small office printer. Very fully featured--prints, scans and faxes--even over a network-- also scans to email, and works as a standalone copier and fax machine. 35-page automatic document feeder for scanning multipage documents is very helpful.

The Canon imageCLASS MF4570dn is a multi-function laser printer with an integrated scanner and fax machine. This builds on the Canon imageCLASS MF4450, adding network capabilities and a duplexer for automated double-sided printing.

The duplexer also enables a slightly faster copy and print speed at up to 26 pages per minute. The model that follows, the Canon imageCLASS MF4690, enables fast scanning of multiple-page double-sided documents with automatic sending to an email address or USB device. This model enables a number of print modes to conserve paper and toner, and can start printing approximately 6 seconds after a print job is sent. An integrated 33.6 Kbps fax enables sending faxes over the phone lines.
