The Canon iVIS HF11 is a full 1080 HD camcorder, noteable for recording in the AVCHD standard. The camera features a 3.31 megapixel CMOS sensor, recording in 1920x1080 resolution to an internal hard-drive of 32GB; SD and SDHC memory cards are also supported. The files are encoded in the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile format. Powered by Canon's DIGIC DV II engine, the camera features a 12x optical zoom and a 40x digital zoom, and has a 2.7" LCD screen. Five different quality modes are available, from 24Mbps MXP (3 hours) to 5Mbps LP (12 hours).
