The PIXMA MX7600 is a top-of-the-line general purpose all-in-one printer, scanner, coppier and fax machine from Canon. Primarily designed for medium amounts of home/home office use due to its rather slow speed and small ink cartridge, the MX7600 also includes photo functionality not found in similar competitors offerings. Allowing for PC free photograph printing with its 1.8" LCD screen, the MX7600 also includes an Ethernet port for operation on a LAN without the need for a host PC. Despite the all-in-one approach, the MX7600 is no slouch with printing, featuring a printing system with six individual cartridges.

- Have numerous fixes for photo print quality and speed and ink problems. Suspect most of the 'cons' published so far result from a relatively cursory use and exploration of the device. Have found that the quality issues are solveable, and new ink technologies can solve virtually all of the reported problems.

- Menu system needs to be fully explored with some test printing done to see all possible results.
