The Canon PowerShot A590 IS is one of the cheaper models available in the Canon PowerShot Series. It features an 8.0 megapixel CCD and 4x optical zoom/optical image stabilizer along with the DIGIC III image processor. The A590 IS is equipped with the same 'Easy' mode as other products in the PowerShot A line and allows for simple operation choices depending on the picture being taken. It also holds a 2.5-inch LCD screen and Canon's Face and Motion Detection technology for accurate shots with minimized blurring.
