Pros
- Excellent form factor. Nice size, pocketable, big shutter button, nice metallic finish. Like a deck of cards
- Very fast startup time and time between shots because of DIGIC III
- Simple to use. Minimalist design and UI
- Great price. Price drop since newer ones are out that aren't really better
- Hookup directly to computer via USB cable (no cradle)
- Great picture quality
- Assignable button on the back can be set to any one of several built-in functions
- Removable battery charges outside the camera so you can buy a spare
- VGA video recording at 640 x 480 30 fps (however, it's MJPEG..see cons)
- Uses SD/SDHC, MMC cards for storage.
- Videos are recorded in AVI format
- Face detect for focus, white-balance, exposure
Cons
- MJPEG video compression instead of better MPEG4 that cameras are moving to
- Picture quality doesn't look good when hooked up to TV via RCA cable
- Sound quality isn't the best in video mode
- No HD video recording or even widescreen 16:9 video format
- Smaller 2.5 LCD screen. Other models have 3.0"
