The Canon PowerShot SD890 IS is the high-end model of the PowerShot Series modelled after the ultra-compact design of the Canon ELPH Series. The SD890 IS features a 5x optical zoom lens (the most powerful zoom within the series) and optical image stabilizer to reduce blurriness in shots. It is equipped with a 10.0 megapixel CCD and Face Detection, Red Eye Detection and Motion Detection technology to capture accurate image colouring and automatically eliminate blur. The PowerShot SD890 features a 2.5-inch PureColour LCD II screen and is compatible with most standard external memory cards.
