 The Canon SELPHY CP800 is a portable photo printer. It hosts a wide array of connectivity options including media card slot, bluetooth, and a USB port for flash drives and PicBridge compatible cameras.

With the optional battery it allows the CP800 to be used away from any power supplies. It has a 2.5'' tilt up LCD display enabling the user to view, sleect and edit images without the need of a computer. Built in functions includes red-eye correction, changing/adding colour effects to photos, and adding/removing borders. Another function worth mentioning is the portrait image optimize, which automatically detects and corrects subjects or faces that appear dark due to backlighting. More importantly the CP800 is able to reproduce lab quality photo prints thanks to it's dye sublimation technology reproducing 16.8 million colours, a clear protective coating is added to protect the print from light, water, and gases. The CP800 can print a postcard size photo in just 47 seconds, and with the protective coating the prints are advertised to last up to 100 years.
