Released March, 2010
The Pros:Easy to pick up and shoot with, no instruction needed. Low light shooting is fairly good, minimal noise. Picture is sharp and clear, looks great in HD with lots of detail.
The Cons:AVCHD format isn't comfortable to use for everyone, bit of a learning curve. Included software lacks features, isn't very easy to work with.
The Canon VIXIA HF R100 is a digital video recorder built to gather high-definition video in an easy to use interface. This is similar to the Canon VIXIA HF R10 and Canon VIXIA HF R11 but doesn't include any built-in memory, instead relying on user-supplied SD cards for storage.
