The Canon VIXIA HF S10 is a high definition flash memory camcorder from Canon's 2009 lineup. The camcorder is Canon's flagship model, featuring an 8.59 megapixel Full HD CMOS image sensor for recording 1080p video footage at 24Mbps and taking crisp still images. It includes Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor for true color production and reduced pixel noise and has 32GB of built-in flash memory in addition to an SDHC expansion slot to provide extra storage. The VIXIA HF S10 utilizes a 10x HD video lens to create professional-grade zoom shots and is designed with a 2.7" multi-angle widescreen LCD display. It includes Canon's SuperRange optical image stabilization, instant autofocus, and face detection technology and has an HDMI output for viewing HD footage on a TV. The camcorder comes with a wireless remote and is expected to be released in February 2009.
