The Canon VIXIA HF S11 is handheld camcorder offered by Canon as the flagship camera to their 2009 line of VIXIA high-definition camcorders. It has dual flash memory and has several advanced HD features and professional-level manual controls such as gain control limits and manual focus. It can record up to 24 hours of HD video to a 64 GB internal flash drive, with the option to record to removable SDHC memory cards. New features in this camera include Canon's new Dynamic SuperRange OIS system which delivers continuous shake correction through the zoom range and an Advanced Video Snapshot Mode. The Genuine Canon HD Video Lens, Canon designed and manufactured 8.59-megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor and Canon DIGIC DV III Image Processor help give higher quality video and 8-megapixel photos. Other features include Genuine Canon Face Detection, 10x HD Video Lens, Instant AutoFocus, and the ability to record in 24p Cinema Mode or 30p Progressive Mode.
