The Canon Vixia HR10 is a camera that captures in high definition and records directly to DVD. It features a 2.96 megapixel, 1/2.7" CMOS sensor that captures 1920x1080 HD resolution. Its zoom lens is manufactured by Canon and can achieve 10x optical zoom, with an optional 200x digital zoom. The camera is also capable of taking still photos and has a mini-SD card slot. The camera functions on auto focus, but manual focus is also possible, with optional image stabilization, and 24p mode. The camera also has a variety of white balance pre-sets: daylight, shade, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent and fluorescent H, and is capable of both 4x3 and 16x9 shooting. The camera records onto DVD-R/-RW/-R DL disks.
