The Canton DM 70 is a virtual surround sound system that comes in a sound bar design. This unit comes with a 300 watt amplifier built in as well as a remote control which eliminates the need for an a/v receiver to operate. The big brother to the DM 70 is the DM 90, which includes an RDS FM radio tuner as well. The size of tv this is suited for is between 37 and 42 inches, although it is recommended to be placed away from the wall for better sound reproduction. The basic design is a two way mid/tweeter section with a bass reflex subwoofer system consisting of three subwoofers. The rear panel has multiple connections for different sources including a subwoofer output, aux and tv analog inputs and also digital inputs for SAT and DVD. A protective grille cover is included and the unit itself is housed in high quality wood casing.
