The JL Audio C5-525x is a 2-way 5 1/4" coaxial speaker system designed to give car owners a high quality sound in their vehicle, without breaking the bank. The JL Audio C5 evolution series is based on producing high-fidelity sound in the toughest acoustic environment using materials that have been proven in speaker design. The C5-525X, along with the component equivalent C5-525, are the smallest speakers available in the C5 evolution line. The 5 1/4" woofers have a mineral filled poly-propelene cone, Butyl rubber surround, 1" voice coil and are mounted in a cast alloy frame using JL Audio's patented Elevated Frame Cooling. The 3/4" silk soft dome tweeters are powered by a Neodymium Magnet and use ferrofluid cooling and damping. This tweeter is universal accross the entire C5 series. The two included 2-way crossover networks use a 1st order low-pass filter and 2nd order high-pass and comes equipped with a 4-position adjustable tweeter output level, 3-position midrange presence control and features Polyswitch tweeter protection. Much like the tweeter, this crossover network is included with all C5 speaker sets.

The C5-525 is a component speaker system designed to give car owners a high quality sound in their vehicle, without breaking the bank. The Infinity KAPPA42.9I is a 150-watt 4" two-way car loudspeaker featuring a Plus One woven glass-fiber woofer cone for increased bass and efficiency. The speaker has adjustable tweeter level controls and edge-driven MMD dome tweeters similar to those found in home audio loudspeakers for better sound integration with the mid-woofer. The KAPPA42.9I also features an outboard crossover that has been voice-matched to improve detail and accuracy. The 4" PLBW42 is the smallest speaker size available in the Blue Wave series, which is a midrange line of car speakers made available by Pyle Audio. The 5" x 7" PL573BL is a mid-sized speaker available in the Blue Label product line, which is a mid-range series offered by Pyle Audio. Common features across the entire product line include a blue poly injection cone and non-fatiguing butyl rubber surround. This model features a 1" high temperature ASV voice coil and 20 oz. magnet structure. The JL Audio VR075-CT package is a pair of 0.75" (19mm) silk dome tweeters that are intended to help give car owners clearer and crisper high tones from their audio system. These tweeters are German designed to give the most amount of power in the smallest possible space. The VR075-CT tweeter uses a neodymium magnet to keep its size at a minimum, and is ferrofluid cooled within its super-compact housing. JL Audio's exclusive RSR mounting system allows the speaker to be rotated into the desired position, even after installation. JL Audio XR650-CXi

The JL Audio XR650-CXi is part of the Evolution XR line of car audio speakers from JL Audio. These speakers are coaxials, which means that the tweeter is built into the woofer. The tweeter is suspended above the woofer and protrudes out. The woofer is a 6.5 inch or 165 mm with a 1.0 inch or 25 mm aluminum dome tweeter attached to it. The woofers themselves are made of a mineral filled polypropylene cone body and come with a 1.0 inch or 25mm voice coil. The low profile, symmetrical roll spider and butyl rubber surround all enhance the look and performance of these speakers. The Cadence FX8m8 is a slim profile 8 inch midrange driver for mobile audio systems. This is virtually identical to the Cadence FX8m4, but uses an 8 Ohm impedance to prevent more powerful amplifiers from blowing out the driver. This is also similar to the Cadence FX6m8, but built larger, with more power, and a slightly wider frequency range. Up to 250 Watts of peak power is recommended with 125 wants of RMS power. Vibrations are generated by a 90 oz magnet structure weight and an oversized 1.5 inch high temperature CCAR voice coil. The JVC CS-AR650 is a 6-1/2" 2-way coaxial car speaker from JVC's high-end Arsenal series. The speaker is designed with a glass fiber PMI woofer that includes a strontium woofer magnet and a butyl rubber surround to provide 60 watts of RMS power handling. The Pioneer TS-A942P is a 6" x 9" 4-way speaker from Pioneer's car audio A Series. The speaker features an injection-molded polypropylene cone with long interlaced Aramid fibers inside it and a butyl rubber surround for strength and rigidity. It has a 1-13/16" lightweight balanced dome midrange with magnetic fluid for faster and more accurate response as well as a 11/16" dome tweeter and a 7/16" silver PET film dome supertweeter. The TS-A942P can handle up to 80 watts of nominal power, 440 watts of peak power and comes with a speaker grille. It features a full-depth basket design for rich bass response and includes a second type of Aramid fiber in the cone which adds additional strength. However, the multiple hole patterns make these speakers easy to mount in almost any vehicle that fits this size speaker. The VR series itself was designed to give car audio enthusiasts the most bang for their buck, fitting in the mid price and quality range of JL Audios evolution car speakers. The VR650-CXi is comprised of a 6 1/2" woofer with grill, 1" dome tweeter and a built in crossover network. The 6 1/2" woofer has a mica-filled polypropylene cone, 1" voice coil and butyl rubber surround. The 1" treated textile soft dome tweeter uses a neodymium magnet to keep its size at a minimum, and is ferrofluid cooled and damped within its compact housing. Unlike the VR650-CSi component verson of this speaker offered by JL Audio, the VR650-CXi does not have a segregated crossover network with multiple settings giving you less control over which frequencies are played through the woofer and tweeter. However, the lack of this extra component makes installation that much simpler and eliminates the cost of components that not everyone will utilize fully. The VR650-CXi does have the same woofer as the VR650-CSi, but the CSi uses a 3/4" silk dome tweeter rather than the 1" treated textile. However this tweeter is universal for all coaxial speakers in the VR series.

The Rockford Fosgate P1694 is a mid-range car speaker similar to the Rockford Fosgate P1692. The P1694's sole improvement over the P1692 is its 4-way array, adding a supertweeter and midrange driver to the P1692's woofer and tweeter combo. Otherwise, the two speakers are practically identical as both sport an Integrated Concealed Crossover and FlexFit basket design.

The P1694's 4-way array provides an extended frequency response of 60Hz - 24kHz (as compared to the P1692's 60Hz - 22kHz frequency response) while providing stronger midrange performance for more well-rounded audio.
