Details
Once you've put your Macbook down, the Handle-it doubles as a passive heat sink by folding underneath the laptop, tilting the resting angle and allowing airflow to pass beneath it. The Handle-it uses existing holes in the Macbook so no drilling is required, with specific versions for the 13", 15" and 17" Macbooks.
The company behind the Handle-it, Case-Mate, was started in December 2005 by a group of engineers who created a cheaper alternative to a leather iPod case. Since then they've focused primarily on creating products for Apple accessories, working with plastics engineers in China and India to help create products that are functional as well as reasonably priced.
