The Casio Atomic Powered watches receive a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado. Signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. See manual for an explanation of ideal conditions for setting as well as factors or locations that can create and make reception difficult.

Just got one of these about 2 days ago. So far works well. Last G-shock I had experienced persistent failures. Unique feature is that this one shuts off after a period of no movement apparently to save battery life. Also seems to have a solar charge capability. Trying to find a manual since there was not one in the box.

I've had mine for 9 1/2 months now, and it's great. It has yet to fail to sync, and has never come close to running out pf power. The only negatives I can really think of are the bracelet scratching fairly easily, and the lack of a countdown timer that most G-Shocks have. If something were to happen to it, I would have no problem going out and buyng another.
