The Casio Tryx is a compact digital camera designed to be able to turn, twist, hang and stand to allow for the user to take pictures from multiple angles. Featured is a 12.1MP CMOS sensor, a 12.5x optical zoom lens, and a 3” touchscreen display.

Signature is the Exilim Engine HS, which can capture full 1080p high-definition video at 30fps, as well as extremely slow-motion footage (240fps) at 432x320. There is also support for 350-degree panorama shots (integrated rotation), HDR-ART for combining continuous shots with different exposures, and built-in social software for auto uploads to the Internet.

#casio_tryx In the past years I have purchased three pocket type casio cameras, my first one in 2006, my second camera in 2008 and my third camera in 2009. I gave my daughter and granddaughter my old cameras. While I was in Hawaii in May 2011, I purchased the new Casio Tryx camera to take pictures of my daughter's graduation in Oahu. To my dissapointment my Casio Tryx did not take nearly as good quality pictures and videos as my old casio cameras. The battery life is short because I was using the "flash"? or the picture colors were too bright or too dark. I was sold by the fancy twist and turn of the Tryx casio camera and I compromised the "basics" of a camera..
that is...1. It should take good quality pictures, 2. It should take good quality pictures at night with a flash when needed, 3. It should take good quality pictures indoors with a flash as needed. 4. As a consumer, we should be able to replace the batteries as needed. so the we can capture those special moments. 5. The batteries should be rechargeable.
Perhaps it's time to move on to other brand camera's...maybe Samsung?
