After several conversations with HP, who felt that the printer may be calling on the color cartridge to print black, that sent me a new printer. We have had it for 2 days and have already used 1/3 of the color cartridge for the same kind of printing. The black has only used about 10%. It appears that we have the same problem. After going through $80.00 worth of color cartridges for a printer that cost $69.00 in only a month, having to take the 1st printer to a Fed Ex location to ship it back, I am truly frustrated. We purchased this printer as an extra to use in a small bedroom.
